The A.I.T.A. Inc. was incorporated on the 9th December 1999.

The Australian ITF Taekwon-do Association (AITA) is dedicated to promoting the pure art of Taekwondo. Its members are devoted to upholding the true discipline of this art.

Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit (the principles of our art) are not just a hollow gesture of nobility but form the core of our training. Afterall, mastery of the physical aspects of Taekwondo is no mastery at all.

The AITA is represented by Tam's Budo Academy (Sydney) and ITF Newcastle. These clubs are run by well respected instructors whose classes are conducted in a friendly and encouraging way.

Members are all certified with Dan and Gup certifications from the ITF. A.I.T.A. Inc. provides its members with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance with Worldwide Sports Insurance Co.

State and national level competitors are subsidised for the competition fees as well as a partial subsidy for flights and accomodation. The Association also allocates funds for the sponsor program.
