What is TaekwonKids?

The Academy's TaekwonKids is a program designed for children up to 12 years of age. The class is fun and consistent with the child's developmental level. Children will usually look forward to their next training session and parents are encouraged to stay and watch the class.

TaekwonKids is a version of Taekwondo taught to children to assist in the following areas of development appreciated by most parents:

• Increased attention span
• Enhanced co-ordination
• Greater respect and discipline

Children also learn about the importance of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. The most important philosophy of self-defence is discussed regularly in the class:

TALK IF YOU WILL, WALK AWAY IF YOU CAN, RUN IF YOU MUST, BUT IF ALL ELSE FAILS, DEFEND YOURSELF.
