What Adamrinjarni says
I started training in Taekwon Do when I was in Kindergarten. I was scared because there were so many things I had to remember. I had to learn patterns and how to count in Korean. I was also really afraid to break my first ever board. I'm not scared any more, and have even done a demonstration in school assembly.
I learnt that it was OK to be scared, but just to do things anyway. I felt really worried about sparring because I was expecting to get a little hurt, but I didnt.
I like going in competitions because I make new friends.
I'm a senior colour belt now, so I have to be a good role model for the kids just starting. I like helping them because it shows I'm being responsible.
